In the long run, last nights Tarholes outcome good?

If we assume the Deacs take care of business today, as they should and likely will, isn’t the humiliating loss by UNC and Dave riding the high road rather than being on the hot seat good for the Tigers? UNC is a bigger recruiting threat, and Dave is, well Dave, so isn’t that good long term? Other than I guess we slide to #3 in bowl pecking order.
