Just received a phone call from some folks in Charlotte - the ACC is indeed expanding and will add SMU, Cal, and Stanford. More to come, but as I understand it, it's now official and more will be coming out as the day goes on. But wanted you guys to see it first.

Nobody really knows beyond rumor, but supposedly GOT won’t be affected unless the league falls below 15 members which this addition prevents. The real mystery is, did FSU and Clemson negotiate deals for their “yes” votes? I can’t imagine the ACC would ever agree to them exiting. ESPN sure doesn’t want either to jump ship for the Big10.

Well, hopefully that "Double Fries" FSU guy is right in what he's heard that the Big 10 (With the backing of Fox) wants Clemson and FSU and is not worried about the GOR (Willing to leave that with the ACC for all of Clemson and FSU's home games because of the value brought even for away games) and would still give the schools full shares. If that's correct, we need to be gone now.

I agree. I think most ACC presidents believe (or know) Clemson and FSU are leaving soon, and this is about survival of those left behind.

It's CRAP-tastic! LOL. Actually headed to NorCal later this month. We used to spend time in SF when we did this event in past years. Won't even set foot in the place now. It's literally a beautiful city crawling with horrible people and "compassionate" Biden voters that step over the excrement and homeless people. It's a HARD PASS now.

Gotta love the ACC adding leftovers, instead of quality because they need to "do something". Adding value dilutive schools who don't even add full revenue shares seems long a pretty moronic long term strategy.

Clemson finds new home in SEC or B1G, likely B1G in my opinion.
This entire conference realignment thing is just insane. Not much makes sense anymore. All these schools now travel cross country to play a game, hard to see how with those travel expenses for Syracuse/BC going to Stanford or Cal is in any way profitable. This just seems like mistake after mistake, almost like telling a lie leads to only more lies until the horrible truth comes out.

Stanford was put on upset alert this week for the game against Hawaii.
After struggling with UConn last night, this decision made a lot of sense for the wolfpack.
