The Wayne Train pulled away from the station in 2014

Picked up steam, rolled through '15, and should go supersonic in '16. With Wayne's attitude, work ethic and tools coupled with this O line, man oh man. SMASH MOUTH FOOTBALL IS ALIVE AND WELL IN CLEMSON, SC. WHAT THEY SAY NOW?

I say I have all the love for Gallman. I want him to break that record. I am not even going to keep my fingers crossed on this one because Gallman and his offensive line got this. Go Tigers!

Always liked Wayne. Last year's Louisville game convinced me.

I think you have incorrect info on Alvin Kamara. I thought he went to Alabama and he attended a different Junior College.

I believe Wayne will prove any doubters wrong again this year. He's going to break that record and go on to play in the NFL. Not only is he a terrific RB, he's also an outstanding young man off the field from all accounts. Go Tigers!

And change his name to the Pain Train?? I cannot think of another player in recent memory that I would rather not tackle.

How about Wayne's Pain Train. Train evokes images of raw power associated with locomotives. Train has gotta stay Semper Fi!

I can still see him twisting and turning from 'Bama would be tacklers at the end of the Natty. Quite a run. But he adds the other dimensions of strength and toughness. Deceptively quick too. Quite the package. He and DeShaun should be an outstanding 1-2 running threat this year. Couple that with all the receivers and I think opposing defensive coordinators will be up to the wee hours trying to figure out how to stop Clemson. Should be fun to watch. Go Tigers!

I'm sorry, but I can't recall people hating on Gallman.

I'm sure it makes for a better story now, but people questioned Ryan Carter's offer; not Gallman's offer (or at least very few questioned it). Gallman was a 4* guy coming out of high school.

I obviously like TigerNet and David Hood, but this article bothers me. Someone point me to where people hated on Wayne pre-arrival to Clemson.
I vividly recall people taking umbrage with the Carter offer based on Robert's comments about his commitment being a lock if Clemson offered Ryan. I know people thought it was odd as well that Nick S got a walk-on offer, but I can't recall anyone complaining about Wayne getting an offer. He was the only one who I can't remember anyone complaining about other than Robert.

hating in this sense doesn't have quite the same meaning, but that with the Nkemdichee fiasco, WG was thrown around by people who were just popping their gums that he was part of the "package". There were some who commented that he would only be a situational type RB because most scouts projected him to be a better LB, and expected that he would change positions after finding himself down the depth chart. Not many Clemson fans and observers were dismissive of WG, most of that came from the outside, but it was plentiful enough to create doubt that WG would be as significant as he is now... so, maybe hate is too strong of a word, i might would say dismissive of his potential...

knuck, you are spot on in your post. I remember Gallman being viewed as a piece of the "puzzle" in the Nkimdiche fiasco but Dabo kept saying that it was not true and he was happy to have Gallman.

There was never a doubt in my mind that we were getting a quality back . I saw his HS film and was convinced he would do well on the D1 level . He is a durious runner and has advanced his size as well as his running style and now looks like he may play on Sundays. Glad he came to Clemson and really looking forward to seeing him in our backfield again this season .

We are loaded at RB with Choice, Dye, Fuller and Feaster

I wouldn't be surprised to see Ray Ray get a few carries too. He has great speed and could create so many problems for teams with his speed in the play action 4 wide Lineup somebody has to cover him and Deshaun.
Our offence will be fun to watch this year. Our defense will be growing and getting better as the season goes on.
Big Dex, Carlos, Wilkins and Etc.
Go Tigers! Win them all the next two years! The best is yet to come!!

It's great to hear all the good news about the O and the D. Has anyone heard about the specialty teams? Any improvement there? Any new personnel (coaches or players) to get excited about?

I have to ask, as I may have been in another country at the time he played, but I don't remember Dymon Adams. Can anyone tell me anything about him?
