New York mom buys 19 year old daughter alcohol in Clemson.

Daughter passes out and is taken to the hospital after lying on floor of the bar awaiting the ambulance. Blood alcohol level was .407 at hospital, and she survived. Who does this? Insane.

I know many "parents" that do some combination of:
*Allow underage kids to drink at their house
*Turn a total blind eye to what kids are up to
*Actually BUY their underaged kids alcohol
*Allow minor children to have parties at their house
*Help them obtain a fake ID
*Allow kid with fake ID to present it with parents at a restaurant so they can drink
*Totally fund bar tabs, ubers, etc. for their underaged kids, sometimes at a rate of several hundie per month
Hard for me to wrap my head around this. Kids will be kids, but parents need to parent as well.
It's almost like these "parents" were dooshes back in the day, and are having another go at it vicariously through their own kids. They seem to be so interested and invested in making sure their kid is "cool".

I can see supporting that Uber cost if they are in College. Hate for someone to make the dumbasss decision to drive home because they don't want to front the money for the Uber.
I'd 100% cover that for my kids.
I'd probably also let me college age kids pull a beer or two from the cooler if they wanted. I'm not making beer runs for them though.
