championship teams have games like this every year. Sometimes they even lose one.
I agree that this game was extremely ugly, but our guys fought through many mistakes (players and coaches) and found a way to win.
We played our D- game today and still won. Let that sink in.

you cannot count what other teams did earlier in the season against teams "not named Clemson"! For one, teams play above their heads when they play our Tigers! We get everyone's best possible shot. Plays they are ordinarily incapable of making "they make" against us! It's the zone that comes when playing the number one team in the country and the Clemson brand! All those kids if they were asked in secret "would love to have received a Clemson offer"!
So, you get their best! When we in addition do not play our very best the game gets interesting!
L.S.S - we are good to go! When we play a team going in that is supposed to beat us - we get that "zone focus" and I don't think there are but maybe 2 teams that can hang then! We good!
