I'm having trouble getting a signal on my DirecTV

dish. I am using a round dish. Is there something I need to change or modify as far as the satellite settings are concerned?

this is what you need to do. First take off all of your clothes (because you will need to be grounded for safety). Then climb on your roof and proceed to twist your dish until you regain signal. You will need a spotter and a yeller. If this fails you could call 1800directv. But i would try the naked twisting first.

you didn't give much info. where do you live (zipcode)? storming? has the dish moved in the wind? how is it mounted?

Anyway - make sure the zipcode is set correctly. plus, there is a (red?) reset button on the receiver that you can try using.

if that doesn't work, take your golf club up to the roof and hold it up while grabbing the dish during the next storm. That usually helps.
