I've enjoyed their fans so far

They are die-hards like we are but seem to be knowledgeable and fun without the nastiness I have seen from the U, Maryland, NCSU, GT fans. I'm glad they are in our division and hopefully we can continue to compete hard in all sports.
Petrino is a bum and low-life but I haven't seen that from the vast majority of their fans.
They beat the heck out of Syracuse!! What an obnoxious, arrogant, weak program and fan-base they are.

If they got rid of Petrino I would be fine with them

Until then, I will be pulling against them. Coaches who pull players scholarships like that drive me crazy

I don't think we'll be in too many football recruiting rivalries with them. It appears we're recruiting two totally different kinds of kids.

I have heard that L'ville fans are quite obnoxious and just as sketchy as the thugs they recruit...that said I think it's safe to say the fans that we encountered when they played in DV this year are 'better-to-do' fans, i.e. they can afford to travel, etc. so you're not seeing the scum of the scum per se...it'll be interesting to hear what people say after they travel to L'ville for the Thursday night game this year. I'd bet the perception they had from their fans that were in DV this past year will be considerably different than what they'll see up there...but Mickey is right, they are shaping up to be, if not already are, Thug U.
