Solo needs to be on her A game. I fear our midfield is ghana get chewed up, Rapinoe being back is sorely needed, also our forwards need to be high pressing, I gotta wonder if Ellis might sneak Leroux in a tie game or with us up.

Interesting how much better the US played with Rapinoe not in there taking too many touches/bogging down play and Abby sitting his ### on the bench (and therefore a much less direct approach).
I really liked what Heath brought, and OMG A-ROD IS A FARKING MENACE when pressing, Leroux the same.
I'd put 'em in a 4-2-1 that looks like dis:

Surely Rapinoe can sit deeper and playmake from the center of the field?
DMs could I guess be any combo of Lloyd, Brian, Holiday, etc. Still have Abby to come off bench if we need any magic late in the match.

In a more central role. She's got technical ability that would serve well on the edge of the 18 yard box, and I believe she could pick a pass out well, too.
I'd like to see Tobin Heath get the start. I think she's earned it and the team has looked better with her in.
Orlando City play Columbus at 7:30, so I'll be double streaming. We should do a game thread.

I watched the last match and was quite entertained. It was much more fun to watch than the previous game when all the Colombian players were acting like victims of a drive-by.
