if the Tigers don't come out Saturday with their hair on fire and ready to knock people's heads off there is no hope for the rest of this year.
If they can't get motivated by all of this then nothing will work.

I’m already looking to the future and hoping that changes are being made behind the scenes now regarding these changes. We can all hope this weekend it may get better but the wise will prepare for the inevitable

I think we are likely in for more losses. Even though we have "been in it" every game the type of problems we have will likely not be repaired until the offseason.
Saturday, I see our defense performing well, but our offense will sputter along, being competitive in terms of moving down the field, but again being unable to get the ball into the endzone or making critical turnovers that lead to points for ND. It is the easiest prediction to make because past performance is the best predictor of future results.
Probably one silver lining is that if Shipley is out we'll cut our turnovers by 50%.
To me I feel like a real win for the team would be just getting out of the Notre Dame game with zero turnovers. That is the win I am looking for more than points on the board. Seeing that such a basic fundamental of football has been corrected will make me believe the team is turning the corner.

That's what y'all aren't getting about the new age of NIL/portal CFB.
The blue chip players are mostly in it for themselves and don't care about the team, school culture, or fanbase.
The head coach mixing it up with a radio caller and the fanbase reacting? That doesn't move the needle for these guys.
