many players from six mile Clemson Honea Path York Anderson Clover Taylors etc. Usually you never see them on the field. I assume they taking up scholarships. Each year we never have enough receivers to finish the season. Would we not be better off and get some good depth out of portal instead at receiver. By the way Conception of NC State said he wanted to come to Clemson. What happened to him Tyler Grisham? He beat us this year single handed.

is one of those late pick-up locals you just called out that we should forego for the portal route instead.
Got any more genius insights to share?

Did I use the name of Tyler Brown and Greenville or say we should never recruit a local guy? No not at all. The Rick came from Belton Honea Path. Steve Fuller came from Spartanburg. If you did not understand what I was saying then you are a bonehead. 😁

I understood what you said and you said the local kids are taking up scholarships that could be given to more worthy players. Presumably because they’re not from SC. You said it and it was stupid but you did say it! You are the Bone Head!

Yes, I did say that. You think Blackstone of Honea Path, Will Boggs of York, Nathan Brooks of Fort Mill, Quinn Castner of Fory Mill, Brody Conn of Clemson, Jackson Crosby of Six Mile ever going to play. That are only a few as there are many more. Brown was expected to compete. Please manage your anger .

I don’t thi k you named a single player on scholarship so they don’t count against the 85 scholarship limit. If they want to bust their bodies to be on the scout team, why would you care.

You called out Tyler Brown's category of player - kids from the area that aren't highly rated recruits that shouldn't be taking up roster space when a portal kid could instead and do better. Own it, buddy.
Maybe you should just say that it should only apply to those players that, in hindsight, after they're on campus and either contributing or not on the field so you're better able to judge them with your expert insight, could be replaced if they're not producing enough?

He said they never see the field. Tyler Brown sees the field with regularity therefore he clearly wasn't referencing him, your mistake. Get someone to read it to you next time, might save you some confusion.

"Usually you never see them on the field."
Do your reading comprehension powers understand the word "usually" and what it infers? You seem slow so let me help you out here - it means more often than not, not an absolute. Tyler Brown does see the field often - the 'unusual' from the OP's lead. Brown fits the OP's group he's whining about so whether the OP understood it or not (he didn't and doesn't apparently), he was referencing him there. He would rather Dabo have gone the portal route instead of signing Brown if he had his way. Of course, with Brown having a great season and offering much promise for seasons ahead, he doesn't want to include him, but what he is advocating for is absolutely that - local SC kids who are late signees to fill spots are a waste when the portal could do better.
All words matter, friend.
Class dismissed.

How many players, exactly, fit this description and are using a scholarship? Would be more meaningful than your generalized whining.

If you ever looked at the roster you could see for yourself but I guess you need to be spoon fed.

I was giving you an opportunity to prove that you aren't just a coot troll since you got upset about the aspersion earlier. If you are a Clemson fan then you, at minimum, would want to be accurate in such criticisms. That is a pretty minimal expectation from a real fan, would you not agree? I don't believe your assertion in the OP to be true. But since you stated it, I assumed you had already done the work. How many scholarship players fit the description you provided? If you want me to look it up then I assume you didn't previously do the work and deliberately threw shade at our football program. That is pretty cootish behavior.
