when the people you govern are shown that they’ll never get their day in court they tend to turn to lawlessness. When they feel that the legal system is not there to protect them, they disregard the law altogether. It’s a two way street; if you want the people to respect the law the leaders must as well. The Trump administration blatantly and willfully disregards the rulings of duly appointed judges and then laments the illegal reactions of the people who are impacted by that very same wonton disregard for the law. There are no innocents or winners here; this is a result of criminally poor governing.

Which rulings were disregarded in California?
I DID see in NY that an immigrant was arrested by ICE as he left a court room where he was granted asylum (unless I heard that wrong). If that's true, then that certainly ain't right.
