America: land of the free, free market… unless I don’t like it and then regulations.

Definitely do. Love a good bourbon or beer. But I’m also a pretty responsible drinker, < 3 or 4 at most.
It is just a bit funny to me. Especially an all caps poast saying “no alcohol.” One, it’s the internet so I tend to not take anything too seriously. Two, in a geographic region where we tend to be very conservative, eg, limit regulations, promote free market values, etc, it is always ironic when folks advocate for regulations. But, I know it is heterogeneous and folks have a variety of views (which I like, keeps things interesting and healthy). Something about the topic as a whole is just a bit comical to me.

Full blown drinking at family oriented college football games sucks. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Nothing good can come from it and I don’t give a #### what they allow in the NFL. It’s lowering standards once again and we’ve had WAY too much of that in America over the last fifty years.

I’ve been to a couple of Clemson games at Mercedes Benz where folks can drink. It has been fine. Honestly not much different than a home game from a behavior perspective. If people want to drink, that’s fine by me. As long as they aren’t violating my rights in some way. And there are rules in place for that. So I’m good with it. Let the responsible people be responsible. If there behavior crosses a line, that’s the actual problem and there tend to be rules in place for it.

College football and drinking hot hand in hand. This probably won't change anything other than the school profiting. There were already drunk people at the games.

There is no regulation at tailgates…. Are you going around and making sure people aren’t too drunk to enter the stadium? When we were Clemson students we’d be so drunk from keg stands and beerpong and whiskey we could hardly stand up going into the stadium. You go to the bathroom and puke during the first quarter, then rally and ready to go for the rest of the game. Some of us even went back at halftime to drink more. But we also didn’t curse around children or show off like crazy.
