Our lead guitarist got a custom strat, a high-dollar Ibanez, and a Mesa Boogie amp. He also brought a couple of insanely expensive Taylor and Martin acoustics. It's jaw-dropping to walk into his studio...I would roughly math that there is a solid quarter million dollars worth of instruments and amps in his collection. He's definitely not your typical trust fund baby...every time I go over there he's trying to send stuff home with me to test out but I keep telling him I refuse to be responsible for any instrument worth as much as all of my basses combined!
