Dabo does shop the portal. When you ask a player to come, said player has to first accept. Can’t force them to come. Sometimes it’s like dating, it just don’t work out.

I bet that if you come up with the kind of cash needed to pull a top DE guy out of the portal, Dabo will tell his assistant coach to go and try to bring him to Clemson...

I think we lost this recruit because they pay NIL money to kids straight out of high school. Dabo will not pay a kid NIL money out of HS or the portal until he has played and proven his worth at Clemson. That's why we can't get 5 start QB's to commit to us. Everyone is paying 5 star QB's out of HS.

Long way to go. Also with the NCAA increasing the # of scholarships to 105 means Dabo has no choice but to use the portal even if it's for depth players only.

I am so sick of hearing about the Portal. Most of the players are there because of lack of playing time or they just are not that good. If ya’ll love it that much pull for the COOTS or Noles. Dabo knows what he is doing. If you don’t trust him just go away.
