Playing a meaningless game has no upside and all downside for us. We win, great thats what we were suppose to do. We lose, we just got beat twice in a row against teams we were favored against right before tournament seeding.

Can't decline, no coach would. Have to get a win for team morale and momentum heading into the Regional.

The whole Conf tourney is meaningless for most, about every year most of the top teams flake out early anyway with nothing to play for if they already got a host in the bag. That's why so many high seeds end up in the final 4...look at that SEC bracket. 5, 8, 10, 11 seeds all won. I just hope we don't go 2 and out in the regional without even throwing Knaak, I'm sure he'll have plenty of rest now to come off that Sunday outing. Lord knows according to some on here you have to have 3 weeks rest before you can throw again.

Clemson did the work already, tournament is exhibition with nothing added for top teams.

Get them some reps. No point risking someone like Blake, Cam, Mathes, Obertop, etc playing a meaningless game.
