Agree. The money is too good and starting over is "hard" (like winning).

Drop some knowledge on us simple folk and explain what you think the difference would be with Venables coming in to coach . Before you start talking portal , remember that Venables has lost 11 games in the last 3 seasons utilizing the portal . He is a great coach but would not do anything better than Dabo .

JK is not jealous of the (lack of) success BV's had at Oklahoma. He knows that if our Football program suffers a little, then Basketball might get more attention.

yes and we would be fools not to take him!! After watching the inability of a Dabo coached team without Venables it is pretty clear who the brains of the operation were ! We should help VaTech pay his buyout to facilitate this. the day he went to the media crying about fans not wanting him after a woeful start to a promising season, he lost all credibility. Instead of admitting he had done a poor job coaching , he tries to tell us how wonderful everything is and cry about people complaining. Put your money where your mouth is DABO and see who else is willing to pay you 11 million per year for this sub 500 record against ranked teams.

Your feathers are showing , FYI Oklahoma lose 6 games last year . Heck your boys in Columbia are going to lose 6 or more this year . I can’t decide if you are the most jealous coot on earth or just plan dumb when it comes to sports .

2. Would Venables leave Oklahoma ?
Lol . Even if Venables turns it around after a good start so far, Oklahoma is a top 4 winingist program of all time and he is from the general area. No way he takes the Clemson job which is around a top 15 program of all time.
Dabo is not leaving either... Thank God...

If you have a coach that wants to leave, better let him leave.

Neither BV or Dabo would even consider VT.

Probably about the same as who would show up and help Brad pack up and drive the U-Haul and even stay and help him unload.
