Crowell had all kinds of character and academic issues. It was a pretty safe bet that he was going to be kicked off the team before the season began.

the ones I know would have been perfectly content had Crowell decided not to return after last season. They seem to think he's more trouble than he's worth. UGA is pretty well set at RB with Richard Samuel (who wil lprobably be moved to FB), Carlton Thomas, and Ken Malcome, not tomention two blue-chip RBs in their 2012 signing class in Keith Marshall and Todd Gurley.
