every player in Clemson starting lineup has a batting average below .300. The average batting average for D1 college baseball players is typically around .290 which explains, at least in part, why this team has looked so average lately, if not worse. I won't even get into how atrocious the pitching has been.

we have been waiting for that all season with no luck. at this point it looks to be a talent issue. Hitters go thru streaks good and bad, but this has been an issue all season. You have to question Bakich and his evaluations of talent and /or the hitting coach because the results dont lie, this team cant hit . Again, we are in the era of aluminum bats, and to have not one hitter at 300, is insane ! You have to think the coaches knew this in the offseason and begs the question why it wasnt addressed.
