Then he’ll need to explain to CBB that the new basketball facility is being put on hold. I don’t like this any more than you, but siphoning off $40,000,000.00 from football is a bad economic decision right now. Give that money to Dabo, let’s stay competitive in football, then, when we find a new conference to call home, we can focus more attention on these pet projects that don’t really have a financial upside. If I know CBB, and I think I do, he’ll understand the situation. In the meantime, I encourage all of you to continue to support this basketball team.

Please explain what we need in football? You can buy a ton of footballs for $40 million and if there was a need for more facilities and available land, Dabo would already have it.

Well, now with the popularity of Pickleball and the adoption by so many football players while only having one court, there is a definite need for additional courts to keep players happy plus could use some lightning. Also for those rainy cold days, there are complaints that there are only 2 bowling alleys and one big video gaming couch.
I also understand that many players being good ole southern boys, they would like more seafood on their menu along with sushi. As you know, this would be an expensive addition to the overall diets.
$40m would benefit the football teams overall diet, activities, comradery and mental health.

The band is an integral part of the gameday experience, and having some extra money would allow more band theatrics, along with allowing us to travel with the entire band to away games. These are the things that we need to be focused on right now.

Of letting the band run down the hill in front of the team. They could then run straight to the visitors tunnel and taunt the other team when they come on the field. It would be a great start to the game!

Is there nothing in that 40,000,000 added to the football budget for discounted dippin dots so more fans attending games can enjoy the REAL gameday experience?
That right there would win over any recruit we wish to sign
I doubt any funds would be left over from that 40M but if there were we could add a Chic-fil-a to the locker room.
