Will you start pulling for them, hope they fail, or stay neutral on them?
It's hard to gets past, but I think you can't help but become an OU fan. The dude's been good to us.
Just my two cents, but completely understand those that feel otherwise.

Same as I feel now. Pull for them if they’re playing Uof7C or UGAy. Otherwise, won’t know they’re even playing.

I pull for Clemson, Texas Tech (wife's Alma Mater), and whoever is playing against South Carolina. Oklahoma doesn't figure in.
JMO, but I think OU is all wrong for CBV... he's a defensive mind, and the Big 12 only plays offense. That's why Lincoln Riley succeeded there... and it's why Schwitzer is pushing Mike Leach as the new coach. Additionally, Riley will decimate OU's recruiting classes when he pulls the talent to USC. I also agree with an earlier poster who pointed out that the new HC at OU will have Bob Stoops and Schwitzer looking over his shoulder. I think CBV is smart enough to recognize all this, and my gut feeling (and my fervent prayer!!!) is that he will stay put.

Defensive-oriented head coaches just need to hire an offensive coordinator who is innovative and give him full control of that side of the ball.

I haven't forgotten the effete, snobbish and downright nasty derisions those Oklahoma oafs directed against Clemson, beginning with our bowl matchup in the Danny Ford years.
It continued after we spanked their asssses then, again before and after our bowl game in Tampa, and of all things before and after we whipped their behinds in the CFP semi.
The people of that state are good people...He1l, I have close relatives there; but that OU crowd are in a completely different category, one that almost demands a lesson or two in humility.
There, I've said it.
