I have a natural gas stub on house for a new grill. Does it really matter what BTU type of grill I get? I see 20,000 btu's up to 80,000 btu's...I will only be cooking for me and some lucky lady one day....Jessica Alba.....are you there?

Not an expert, at anything, but I would think that the grill regulates the gas. So I doesn't matter.

You do have to have different burners for natural gas versus propane. I did the same thing and with the grill I bought changing the burners was no big deal. As I recall it took about a half hour.

DO NOT get cast iron unless you want to fight rust forever. Any bare metal for that matter. Go with the ceramic. Unless you eff up and put it in a dishwasher, you will have no trouble with rust. Dishwasher pressure will find the seal cracks. When you are done grilling, brush the grate and close the top on high heat for a bit, turns any residue into carbon which you can get off easily. Personally, I think you are a wimp for not using lump charcoal. (just kidding)

over the past 40 years. After eventually throwing them all away due to rust, I broke down and sprang for a stainless steel Ducane. It's served me well for the past 10 years, having only to occasionally replace the burners. The grates are stainless too.
