Do you think the SEC would still get two teams in the BCS and if so, wouldn't Bama go to the Sugar?
I'm just afraid they'd like to see a Bama- Notre Dame match-up or some such.

I think SEC gets two teams in no matter what. SEC champ would take the spot in the Sugar that Clemson may get.
Bama, UGA, UF, LSU - two of those four get BCS bowl spots. We really need Bama in the MNC game to open a spot for us.

I love pulling against Alabama, but if they lose, that may hurt our BCS chances. It would be fun to watch a no-SEC national championship though...

Alabama losing today may end up being in Clemson's best interest. I understand your argument at face value, but you have NO idea how the rest of the season is going to play out, or what would work better for Clemson's best interest.

You're absolutely correct that I don't know how the rest of the season will go. But, I can't see how this helps in any way. It takes the slot Clemson was counting on.

The sugar isn't going to have an sec vs sec matchup, so they'll have bama and a another team (Clemson) the same as before.
What team is going to get a CBS bid over us now that bama lost that wasn't going to before?

It is against our nature to root for SEC favorites. Win out and see what happens. If Carolina had to win a game for us to go to BCS then screw it. Let's go to belk bowl.
