Wouldn't busting his tail one more season at Clemson and trying to earn a draft position in next spring's NFL Draft be more helpful for his eventual kid? Just don't marry the girl yet and she will have the kid taken care of by our tax dollars. That's what folks do all the time now.

failing a drug test after his 2nd offense?
The second failed drug test comes with an automatic 10% of the season suspension. I don't remember him ever being suspended for anything other than punching the NC State player.
The third failed drug test is the one that comes with an automatic dismissal according to the CU Student-Athlete Handbook.
