Clemson became an independent team with NO conference affiliation do you think that a lot of other big time football schools would schedule them??? Personally I don’t think there are many coaches out there who would jump at the opportunity to play the Tigers. Especially on the road. Clemson certainly has to remain a conference team. The solution is MAKE the ACC stronger. Easy ty say- Hard to do.

ND is going to stay independent.

No B1G or SEC schools are going to leave for the ACC.

Adding leftover PAC teams make the ACC weaker.




The bottom line is the ACC is banking on the GOR, and lower tier schools trying to hang on (BC, Cuse, Pitt, etc...)... while Clem/FSU/Miami look for a way out. The breakup is inevitable, but the ACC wants to hang on for several more years.

I think the mega conferences are all gonna go to 10 or 11 games and only play G5 or FCS teams out of conference. Any independent team, other than ND, is gonna get frozen out.

No way to make the ACC stronger at this point. We Clemson need some bad### lawyers . Time to get out this mess of a conference and survive. I think many of the schools that want to leave realize that it's about survival now.
