(Hypothetical exercise)

GOR by leveraging it against the demise of the ACC leaving a worthless product at best with top brands FSU, UNC, Clem, and Miami walking

I get it, ESPN vs itself in some regards.

But if the money worked

WOULD YOU WANT THE ACC TO STAY WHOLE AS IS

OR

Bail and play in the 20 team SEC OR BIG10?

Not going to happen in the current situation.

What I would really like to see is a football czar like many of the coaches have called for and to separate football from the other sports.

Because travel for the other sports will be crazy.

Just break off football, have one conference with regions/divisions.

Time to bail and it will happen. FSU will be the hammer that breaks the ACC. Remember Clemson and FSU are tied @ the hip. Time to think about the future a new day is coming.

I think a football czar is coming. I also think football will break away. The problem is you will have 3, maybe 4 conferences. They all have different wants/needs and strengths and weaknesses. The B1G and SEC have money and big name programs. They will not want to divide revenue equally and will want a larger share of whatever. Its going to be hard to get the 3 or 4 conferences to agree on things. And I know the B1G will not want to go back to a strictly geographical conference. They worked had to expand and add teams that brought value to the conference. Md and Rutgers are laughed at, but they added new and desirable markets. Their value may decline somewhat in the future, but at the time of entry, they were solid adds.

this would be disappointing but acceptable. Provided that the new ACC deal would be enough $ to keep us from drowning until 2036.

If all the choices were financially sufficient, I prefer

1. SEC
2. B1G
3. ACC with improved revenue deal

Heart says: ACC - SEC - Big 10

Head says: SEC - Big 10 - ACC

I don’t feel Big 10 is a great fit but I also don’t see the ACC as financially viable even if things are restructured. I also agree with splitting FB off as the Olympic sports outside of BB are gonna be in for some difficult times.
