Just looked at the recruiting rankings for 2025 and they’re dominating. 4 guys with an AVERAGE ranking if 99.39; I’m not sure if we’ve ever had a single player that high. I didn’t know Carlos Boozer had any kids.

No. Like you said, it'd be before rankings. The only 5* in basketball were the 2 women recruits.

we would have hit on at least one of those. Same as football. The more high rated players you get the more likely-hood of having a great team. The more 3 stars you sign the less likely-hood of having a great team.

You can go different routes. Rick Pitino at St Johns just recently said that they won't go after HS players. They want to experienced mature portal players.

Yes Sir. There was a chart of the teams in the sweet 16 that showed where each starter on the respective teams actually started college. You could easily identify 2 teams, Duke and Purdue.

It was posted on T-Net but I can't find it. It speaks to what nctigs says. If you haven't seen it, it's an eye opener.

Thank you cbprof and clemsonbluejay. I'd forgotten there was a couple more teams easily identified. But hey, who cares that we'll look like that in 26 as long as we're in the tournament and especially if we're in the sweet 16.

It really does come down to the draw in the tournament and on any given night, you can have a great night or a bad one. But as y'all had posted b4, you keep getting to the tournament, eventually it'll be our day to shine.
