Will Sammy get some snaps at RB?

He definitely has more upside at LB, but LB is a harder position to learn than RB.
Doubt he has much impact early on as LB and will only be here for 3 years. Only makes sense to let him tote the rock some. If he has some success he could be a good decoy on offense as well.

No, him and Mafah weigh the same. Give it to the guy that bangs it down!

I like it. Id love to see him out there in some short yardage 2 back set stuff. I mean he's 6'2 240 and rushed for 5000 yards in high school.

Might see him in a short yard formation or something but he’s too good of a LB and athlete in general to keep off the field long. I def think he will be getting a lot of reps this season at LB. One of those guys that seem too good to not have on the field but we will see. He’s a freak of nature tho! Go Tigers!!

Every year it’s amazing when it happens. We know it will happen but it still catches us off guard. One guy will bring up HS stats and another guy will post height/weight as evidence of proficiency. Others will chime in with their approval. What’s really a head scratcher is the guy who has the most rushing TDs in ACC history was a 5-10, 200 pound kid from Jennings, Louisiana

Why the heck not...we have some great experienced linebackers...if he is a great RB or a great punter then why not...two great pounders in the backfired can loosen some teeth on the DL and then Edimame can run around them! DABO BEING loyal is not the same as Dabo being stupid!

Hopefully not. There is a reason we recruited him as a LB.
Save the gimmicks for once we are a powerhouse again.

Heck no. They aren’t going to risk injuring him when we already have multiple capable backs. That would be silly. He is on the 2 deep chart for LB. He will see tons of playing time this season

6’2 240 and if my memory serves me right he had a 10.8 second 100m in track? The only thing that I think would stop it would be the injury issue.
