is an absolute rebounding machine. He's our version of Dennis Rodman minus the nose rings, dyed hair and affinity for Kim Jong-un. This is a gritty team with a lot of upside.

Obviously, he's my man. Developing nicely. I think the new assistants are really paying off too.

The change is rebounding technique (things I thought every team/player knew) is refreshing. All finding and putting a body in someone when #### goes up. Took us 14 years, but it and some other changes r appreciated. Girard the best shooting guard we have had since Oglesby. No More 8-10 minute droughts that used to be a staple. Deep, well balanced team. Even BB should not be able to F this up. 3-4 seasoned players on floor almost all times. They stay healthy they have a chance to be one of best teams in school history. (Hope I did not just jinx someone).

Girard is a much better player than Oglesby.***

50 boards in last 4 games
31 in last two!!
Watching his highlight reels in high school I never would have imagined he'd be this type of player. Thought of him as a Hunter Tyson, as 3/4 tweener.
He was barely a 3star receuit coming out of HS. It's enjoyable every year to see that surprise player. We seem to have them every year lately.

We develop players really well.
Of course, Ian’s hard work can’t be discounted. He’s worked his tail off and it shows.

I've also noticed that he has some ball skills. No longer have to freak when he puts the ball on the floor midcourt-good hands man.

He is one of the most underrated players on the team.
Ian has shown capability in the past to score a bit if he’s the main guy without PJ Hall and now other players scoring. So he’s not totally lacking there, we just don’t run through him.
The rebounding is finally coming together. This has been one of the main things we’ve had to actually get better at. And this year we look very good there.

Ian scores no matter who's on the floor, what do you mean?

He's not a franchise player, he's a role guy who has played it very well for 2 seasons +.
He's a huge part of the offense whether he puts the ball in the net or otherwise.

Stop just trying to go back and forth w me
You know full and well that of PJ and Girard are on the floor, majority of the possessions are aimed at simply setting them up.
But you’re right, Ian can of course score with them on the court, but it’s definitely not as much compared to him having all the post up opportunities instead of Godfrey and Hall and others.
