For Clemson and FSU to be in the SEC (like they did 7 years ago or so). Last time Clemson and FSU were not taking their money yet. Also Florida and SC had bargaining chips and together, with the help of UGA and UK to keep Louisville Nd GT out, counted for a third of the votes. Now those votes have been diluted, Clemson and FSU are on ESPN's payroll, and Florida and SC have no football bargaining chips in a very diluted conference half. We may have to get used to the idea of being in the SEC before it's all said and done.

We both would easily be at the top of that league. Look at all the teams with good histories struggling right now in that conference. Do you really think they would invite two teams that would make it even harder for them to return to better days?

The ACC is solidified for the foreseeable future. And the ACC is starting to play good football and have a good number of the best coaches in the country

Not saying their schedule is hard or anything, but two of our toughest games (FSU and Auburn) are also on their schedule, with a 24-7 win over FSU on a neutral site already on their resume. I'm not sure if our remaining schedule including Louisville is really all that much more impressive than theirs.

but on the other hand with how bad the SEC is they have an extremely easy path and may only have to beat one quality team (first playoff game opponent) to get to the title game
