the numbers of players jumping into the portal at the end of this season is gonna be yuuuuge. I think Dabo’s gonna have to use the portal this offseason if he wants to field a team next year.

There are PLENTY of sons and brothers of former players still on the roster, as well as about 20 guys from Daniel HS. We’ll be able to compete w Wake, Syracuse, and G5 schools for years to come.

We are going to be significantly worse next season. The only NFL talent on the team is on the interior of the D line, at LB, and one of the corner spots, and those dudes are all out of here.

Then he has lost his touch. We will def have many players transfer and there is no way we can fill those holes with True Freshman. And we gonna have to pony up some NIL money for the best portal guys. Miami’s OL was not good last year, they went in the portal and got 3 good new OL, one was a starter at Bama and they tampered w him and offered him a lot of cash to come. They all came and look what they did to our DL that has played well for the most part this year. We got dominated by the run game and had zero sacks.
The game has changed and Dabo has to either evolve or fade into the night.

with their new team? I have no idea, just kind of wondering what the ACTUAL value is. I know we hear about the ones that do, and some may have a great game here or there...but I'm wondering how many teams actually completely patch position holes and then go on to be highly competitive because of it. I'd be really interested to see an in-depth look at the numbers on that year to year.

the portal and never found another team, but I'm guessing that may have leveled out some. I do remember seeing an article written from a Clemson perspective maybe last year, and our guys that transferred weren't exactly tearing it up.
