My wife and I would have left each other YEARS ago.
I try to give thoughtful gifts but they usually suck. Or at least I used to try. She does occasionally give decent gifts, but usually it is some kind of shirt.

Usually a nice meal out, I get her 12-18 yellow roses, a nice card, maybe nice bottle of wine and nice chocolate. I get something mundane like clothes or a tool I’ve mentioned. But more than sox. That said, nothing wrong wit getting some nice wool sox. It’s really all about the sexy time. A guaranteed 2 min 23 secs of bliss is enough. Well, that and a nice card.
