Sofia Vergara came to mind immediately. She had a chance in Griselda, but she opted for a body double in that nude scene.

Creepy, zero talent, not funny, and just a head-scratchingly odd cultural phenom.

and I find him pretty funny as Baby Billy. And his self-deprecating monologue on SNL was pretty funny too.

I agree that Fred is pretty unfunny. I tried to watch Portlandia but it just kinda sucked.

I call this the Jennifer Love Hewitt Paradox for actresses....

You don't want to give away the goods too early because that might hurt your career, but if you wait too long, you run the risk of losing the appeal, which will also hurt your career (which is what happened to Hewitt).
You do have actresses like Sydney Sweeney where showing the goods gave their career a huge boost (Alexandra Daddario too), but she(they) are the exception, I think.
My answer for a current celebrity would be Katy Perry. And with where her career is right now, it seems very possible, even likely she shows us the full 'fireworks'.
*note: A couple of years ago I would have said Janelle Monáe, but she's mostly shown everything in the last few videos she's done.

Was that Saved By The Bell girl ever heard from again after that immoral movie she made? I watch it from time to time to remind me of her lack of morals and such.
