Brain Fart WCCP "NOT" WYFF .... Clemson's "flagship" station!

Really ....... where does it originate from ..... Ramona'a basement? It has gotten to the point in Greenville, a whopping 30 miles away, that I have to turn the volume up so loud, that you best not change channels if you value your ear drums. What is their range ..... 35 miles? During football season, or any other sports season, there used to be a network of stations where you could get the game anywhere in South Carolina. Now, I am not sure where you can pick up the games, but I don't think it wide ranged. Is there no longer a reason to be able to have a network of stations statewide that carry games?

Yes. That video tribute brought a tear to my eye. I didn't know he was the Atlantic Weatherman on WYFF. I remember him doing the noon weather and cooking segment before he retired in early 80's.

asked me who I was and how was I doing. I was only about 5 or 6 years old and I said, "I'm Bryan Black....and my dog died today"......I bet Mr. Doohickey just about crapped his pants....Had to be one of the worst guests spots ever on the show.

Does Ramona own the station? I don’t understand why she is on the air. Since Walt knows everything and is never wrong, Ramona has no reason to be on the show.

Always was able to pick up signal in simpsonville Laurens Clinton above TR and down to McCormick.
There are other stations who carry games but the game product (all CU game products) are managed by Learfield Sports and are syndicated. Daily broadcasts from WCCP are not syndicated but easily stream them from your cell phone.

you brought back a lot of great memories with WFBC/WYFF. MY aunt was the secretary at the station in the 50's and early 60's and used to get on everything they had for kids. I was on Monty's Rascals (Monty Dupuy) or it may have even been the kids show before it. We also got tickets to see "rasslin" with Gorgeous George and many of the old timers. Those were the days!
