Not really. Better competition finally exposed the cracks.***

Not that it matters, but crighton's fly wasn't going out. Perhaps just the wording, but gracia made the catch on the berm. Not a Cam type catch, but a good one.
Crighton gave it a ride. Warm sunny day it's probably a grand slam. Feels like we're just stuck... hindsight is 20/20 but we win yesterday's game and the series if our pitching wasn't so thin. Better now than the regional.
Probably played ourselves out of a national seed. But that's ok, we're good enough to win on the road. Hopefully we'll get some pitching back. Would be nice to have a Sunday starter and let Bailey come in on relief.

Tough loss. Probably means we will not host at all, but we still have time to get back on a roll. Let's play loose and have fun. The talent is there, but slumps are hard to explain and even harder to overcome.

I was glad to be in Clemson at the game on Sunday with the Mrs.

It was a quiet day at the end of a rainy weekend. Mother's Day and day after graduation. We were seated right above the dugout, and the Tiger players and coaches seemed to be all about business. On this day, there was little fire on display from the troops. By contrast, the Duke players in their dugout showed a fair amount of passion, but maybe they just had more to cheer about.
Duke was bombing our pitcher, and he stayed in the game. My thought was Bakich and the pitching coach were saving their horses for the playoffs. For those with more insight on the team, is this right?
