In Ford years ... Obed, Treadwell, Gardocki, Igwebuike and more. Like to see the trend returning ...

I agree. When I was a kid, my Clemson heroes were Obed Ariri and Donald Igwebuike. We can all thank a Nigerian soccer player for our 1981 Natty.

Obed Ariri (1977-’80): He was the first of a long line of great kickers at Clemson from 1977-’94. A first-team All-American in 1980, his 57-yard field goal against Duke in 1980 was an NCAA record at the time. He made a Clemson record at the time 23 field goals in 1980. He made 63 for his career and scored 288 points.

I live in Rock Hill and he comes from a great family who I know. I can’t wait to see him excel at Clemson.

fakes, frauds and unoriginal... ask the majority of that fanbase where their gesture originated and they can't tell you and they will swear that it is original to them...

I hope he stays for his full 4 years if he doesn't redshirt. Sounds like he will be playing on Sundays one day. His film is awesome too. I am not sure how many kickers leave early anyway though. Anyway, look forward to some great years with him.

B.T. Potter also played on South Pointe's Varsity soccer team this year lead the team in scoring with 28 goals & 9 assists. Looks like he was 3rd in the state in 4A schools in scoring with 65 points. We're also getting a really good athlete.
