Dabo, please regain control

It is time that Dabo grabbed the reigns on offense and special teams. Pearman and Morris should both be put on notice. Outside, in the working world, leaders lose their jobs over performance. Dabo, we need you to step up and be the Head Coach you were four years ago. Morris is a wildcard we can ill-afford to be calling plays in critical game scenarios. Dabo, take back the coaching. It appears that Morris has lost common-sense, and has become too conservative - play to win, play to score, every down, every play, every game. Please Dabo, get a grip on this coaching staff, and game preparation.

They are all hunkered down in their coaching bunker together, there will be no dissension in the coaching ranks.

I think that Coach S. has a firm grip on the reins of this team and he will reign as our coach for a long time. He and Morris and Venebles and the others seem to work well together. The few problems that the have will be cleared up. Come Saturday you will see just how well they harmonize. 99 - 0

he was kinda glad FSU out-scored us, even though he was pulling for the Tigers to upset them. His reasoning was that he did not want the Wuffies playing Crab Legs the week after getting beat.
He's really glad that the tarholes will be playing us at DV this week-end. He hopes for a 70+ effort from us.

You do realize where our offense (and our team for that matter) was before Chad Morris right? We were garbage and could not move the football. Now you want him to be "put on notice" for not beating the number 1 team in the country? That is an absolute clown statement.
Did he make some questionable calls on Saturday? Yes. Should we have won the game? Yes. Does he know what he is doing better than you or I? Yes. We lost the game on Saturday due to stupid mistakes, not bad play calling. Already sick of seeing these fair weather fans on this site.

So you find the play calling more detrimental than the missed pass by Stoudt on the goal line, the two missed field goals by Lakip, the fumble in the red zone by Davidson, Alexander falling down in coverage, or Norton's errant snap? You change any one of those mistakes and we win the game. That is execution, not play calling. Hell you reverse all of those mistakes and we win by 21+.
My main issue with the coaching staff has been the depth chart. Obviously Watson is our qb and it looks like they are finally ready to accept that. But the fact that Humphries is out there running bubble screens with Artavis on the sideline is pretty ridiculous. I just think it is funny that we lose a game (granted we should have won, we outplayed them) and now people want Morris' head. He completely revamped our offense and team, and that is just moronic.

I am a former player and my observation is that the play calling went from dynamic in the first half of Georgia game to play not to loose predictable and conservative in the second! Play calling was also conservative at fl state! We are trying to be a run team that is not built for it! Morris needs to get his balls back and trust his players! Certainly we made mistakes that cost us the game but with a wide open offensive attack we would have beaten them by 40! I've been a Clemson fan all my life not a fair weather fan ! I have run down the hill many times and am not a football idiot! Morris cost us both games with bad play calling! We could have throttled both teams with either qb if he passed on first down! Morris has become predictable!

Even if you don't particularly like the 4th down OT call, Morris called a good enough game to gain over 400 yards of offense against FSU on the road.
Last year, only one team gained over 400 yards of offense on FSU, and that was Auburn in the championship game. That was also the only time FSU was outgained all season. Clemson did both of those things on Saturday, and they did it in Tallahassee.
Quit blaming the coaches for one bad call and take a look at all the points that were left on the field before the end of regulation. It's not Morris's fault that Lakip missed two FGs, or that Norris snapped it over Watson's head, or that Davidson fumbled when we should've been driving for the win.

Someone comes on here and on their first couple of posts they post such a ridiculous question we have no option but to question their intelligence and/or fowlness.
Please earn a little bit of credibility to distinguish yourself from the fowl USUC trolls. Of course if you are truly a fowl USUC troll keep doing what you are doing. Eventually the garbage truck will stop by and pick you up.

Ha! U guys kill me! Berating people for not being a regular! Sorry I'm not a cranial computer nerd but I know more about football and offensive game plans than most! I played for Danny Ford and was a fullback! Nuff said! I know we don't have the same personnel as last year but u still gotta play to win on offense! Open it up on first down and put them on their heels! The run game then becomes effective! We are not built to be a run first team! A prime example is fl states first drive of the second half! They opened it up with the pass on first down!

It takes a big man to sit at a computer screen and call someone a ####### or a moron! I can bleed for Clemson football while you cheer but if I express my opinion on tigernet I am a DA! Ha! Y'all crack me up! Have y'all ever even played football! Do you know what an offensive philosophy is? Players will screw up but they aren't being paid 1.3 million! I'm not calling for Morris' head! I'm simply asking that he pull it out of his ### and call the plays that scored us 40 a game the last two years and ditch the conservative crap!

the snap not been over the qb head will we'd have had 31. Don't count one of the missed field goals because it should have been 7 if not for the bad throw, but do count the other missed field goal and it seems Morris had them in prime position to score 34 points against the #1 team on their field. That is not bad. And I also won't count the points left off due to Davis' fumble because the defense gave the offense the ball there.

Morris must go!
The two worst play calls were the one where he told the center to snap the ball all the way to Tampa and the one where our most productive back fumbled on their 16.
Damm that Morris! He's an idiot!

Ha! Sarcasm I love it! What are u 14! Players make mistakes every game! You can beat your head on that wall all u want! I'm not debating we win if we cut those out! Bottom line is the play calling is nowhere near as dynamic and unpredictable as last year! 1.3 is a lot of money for predictability!
