I thought Clemson's 1 billion dollar goal was impressive

Clemson reached 600 million in the capital campaign from 2010-2012 and then changed the goal to 1 billion. I don't know what the figure would be for total funds collected by the University over this year, but apparently all Stanford has to do is ask for 1 billion.

Hewlett and Packard once competed against each other to give massive dollars to Stanford. Not sure if that's still true. With backers like that... Stanford's money has always been huge.

it is impressive but Uva raised 2.5 billion
