37 trips around the sun.
Want to take Ms. Wilbur (in b4 pig request, no pigs) to a nice place for dinner either in Mt. Ohio, errr, Pleasant or on the peninsula.
Look for some good recs where we can get out for 2 bills or less.

Fleet Landing was my wife’s favorite but it’s been 6 years.
She liked going early to get a water view table

My suggestion would be Chez Nous. Romantic, small restaurant. Small rotating menu, so you have to be ok w eating what they’re making that night, but the food and vibes are great there.

I think you're only allowed in there if you're wearing a Chucktown t-shirt.***

So many places it’s hard to narrow it down… But no not Hyman’s. Places we go: Coast Bar and Grill Henry’s Hanks seafood Chez nous Reds ice house Plus about 200 other places.
Places I avoid: Salt water cowboys On weekends in season it’s way too busy. Last time I was there we were talking at the table after we ate and the hostess came to our table and asked us to leave because they needed our table for people on the wait list.
Sunsets (old RB’s) on Shem creek. The Boals family sold it to people from Atlanta and they now charge you to park in their parking lot.
Hymans is way too touristy
Have fun. And go get desert from peninsula grill approx 102 north market street. You can eat at the bar. ORDER COCONUT CAKE!!!

You can't go wrong with 82 Queen, in my opinion. We tend to sit at the bar and let Scottie amuse us! He's beyond light in his loafers, but he's a hoot! Plus, it's founded by Clemson grads...been going there over 40 years. Poogan's Porch is next door...also been around that long. That's a testament!

I know it's not Mt Perfect, nor on the Penny, but alas.
Langdon's, Wood and Grain, Crave, Graze, Basil, Grace and Grit, and Amalfi's, all come to mind in Mt P.
