We already knew this UGA defense was young...

I go to school with a cousin of Jonathan Rumph (JUCO WR the Dawgs signed this year), and apparently Rumph told him that the Jawja DB's can not cover squat. We should expect nothing less than a Heisman performance from Mr. Tajh Boyd. Go Tigers.

Well neither can ours.***

There's something in these hills.

I think with Blanks moved to safety, Alexander coming in

Mar 9, 2013, 11:01 AM

and Jenkins coming back from injury, we should be greatly improved. Biggest thing we should be worrying about against Georgia is stopping their backs. Shame we had a chance at both Gurley and Marshall.

We should be able to keep them in check and force them

Mar 9, 2013, 11:45 AM

Throw based simply on the fact that we should be physically ready with the big time atmosphere of this first game. We are at home in a night game with huge exposure and a chance to carry over the attitude that was created with the LSU win. I hope BV turns it loose and sends a message that we will own the trenches. Bring pressure and take Ga out of their gameplan. Murray is unlike Tajh in that he needs a run game to open up their pass game.

That's the key...make them throw it.

Our new DBs will be tested early.

That didn't make me nearly as mad

as 3rd and 19 and Thompson, who at best runs a 5 flat 40, isn't even touched. Hopefully we will be significantly improved from then.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think our DBs will be vastly improved

Mar 9, 2013, 12:42 PM

Blanks has shown some promise and the athleticism of the guys we've got coming in are bound to increase the competition level.

I think it all starts on our D line though...if we can get some consistent pressure like we did in the LSU game, our D can do some damage.

they would almost have to be but your post is on track too in an improved DL's role in that too
