ETN for me. Watson had injury problems his freshmen year and was inconsistent.
ETN has Todd Gurley level talent (not saying they are the same type of runner- just saying in talent level). Dude needs to be getting at least 15 touches every single game. He is electric.

Good lord dude. This is a college football forum. We are not apart of the team nor do we have any impact of depth charts. We are allowed to be hypothetical and discuss any and all things Clemson football.

Wow! I agree with the poster.I'd like an explanation from one of these Tigernet experts as to why he is 4th on the depth chart? Unless you've seen all the games in person, you can't get the message. There kid gets a sliver of an opening and he's gone!! Take a look at the L'ville film if you want to verify why he is the most dangerous runner on our team. Go tigers!

Both needed some time to learn the offense and get used to the speed of the game. I think ETN gets 15+ touches in games we need him. Perfectly fine to keep his young legs fresh for the playoffs.

to be the starter. In situations where we're just daring our opponent to stop the run, he's the man.

Maybe write Dabo and let him know he's making a big mistake. He appreciates insight from persons with zero experience in running a national championship football program.

It's a hypothetical question on a football message board.
Getting mad about it makes you look silly.

It's puzzling, if not controversial, that ETN has has not moved up to the 3rd spot behind Choice.I love having Fuller in for passing downs, as we've all seen he is a capable receiving back. But Fuller is having some issues securing the ball in these early games.Still I kind of like how we are using the 4 back system.Wears down the defense.
GO TIGERS!!!

It's all in the data. If you analyze their performance carry-by-carry, you will see that although Feaster has a higher gradeout, his standard deviation is lower than ETN's. CJ's std deviation of zero can't count cuz he only had one carry.

I will wait until we see this week's depth chart. Not a thing any can do about Stoudt/Watson other than Monday morning quarterback. Just saying.

I don't think there is a controversy with our talented RBs...I am extremely happy to see Choice and Feaster getting the looks they deserve. I like to look at it as a revelation if you will. We were panicking about Richardson situation in Tenn and panicked a bit when White chose UGA..With the RBs we have on our roster currently, who of which are al eligible to return next season, fills a heavy void that we thought we had.

i think they're 2 completely different situations.......

that being said, anything that involves stoudt OVER watson is absolutely laughable.......it was then and it is now. I get what the coaches thought they were doing in bringing DW4 along slowly, but it was blatantly obvious from the moment DW4 took his first snaps @ UGA to any person with a pulse that watson gave us the "best chance to win"
as far as the RB situation is concerned i believe the "blocking" argument against feaster or ETN is losing credibility. The reward of having those 2 RBs being 1 & 2 far outweigh the risk of missing a block or two.......it's not like fuller or choice are "out of this world blockers" anyway.

Also platooning runningbacks is a successful, common practice. QBs rarely platoon successfully, so starting Stoudt over Watson was more controversial to me.
