ESPN analyst used the word "##########" - the IDIOT said

He said that if Clemson loses to UNC in the ACC Championship game it would be a fitting ########## moment -- being #1 almost all season long just to lose this late in the season.
OMG!!!! What an IDIOT? Losing to a top 10 team happens ALL the time to lots of teams. I hate the term "##########" even when used correctly (e.g. a top 10 team losing to an unranked team) because that happens to other teams too. And it has NOT happened to Clemson since Dabo took over. BUT what in the heck did this guy mean? Clearly he is CLUELESS. He should be fired. I wish I knew his name.

how much it pi$$es us off and they're doing it because it bothers us.
No amount of righteous indignation is ever going to make them stop.
They will only stop when we win enough to make them look foolish when they bring it up.
We've converted a lot of them this season already, but do NOT think that losing tomorrow won't bring it back on us full force once again.
If we want it to go away, we simply have to BEAT it to death!

I think Clemson has already won enough to kill that phrase.

It may have applied to Tommy Bowden's teams, but not Dabo's teams.
I'm not sure what term to use for an SEC team losing to a 1-AA team like the Citadel. SECing?

For now, just look at it this way...
It's more motivation for the team...while they are at #1. They got there by what they did proving people wrong...now they have the motivation again to prove people wrong again, instead of feeling they already did when they hit #1.
Go Tigers!!!

I actually like the term. I love hearing it. The bigger the

stage the better. Follow me here. That nasty term, which has been bantered about by the media constantly, has done as much or more than ANYTHING this year to keep this team motivated, angry, hungry, and ultimately successful. If we win the next three games, we will have to actually hunt for locker room material to post next season.

I can't think of any other school that's used as a verb.
Also if a team losing more than one super bowl they don't call that "Billing" or "Buffaloing"

Unfortunately, if we Lose, the word ########## will haunt us for many more years. Not right, but true.

getting blown out on the big stage, as in the West Virginia debacle and the Florida St game a couple of years ago. Those days are behind us, but in any event I hope they keep bringing it up. It probably helps keep our players and coaches more focused to make sure it doesn't happen.

Originally, it meant cruising along during a season and out of the blue suddenly losing to a big under dog for no conceivable reason. Something we used to do on a pretty regular basis.
Since we haven't lost to a big under dog in forever, over the past few years it's morphed into pretty much anything the haters want it to mean.

There's no such thing as that term being "used correctly" anyway...so you need to check yourself.
