I think some of you are missing the point about Coach Lee

It's not so much about the losing...

It's not so much about does he or does he not have good players...

This is a poorly coached baseball team. PERIOD! It has been for all 6 years...

We can't run the bases, that much is clear. I have never seen such poor overall awareness of base running, maybe ever at this level.

His refusal to play small ball at crucial times.... That is not a coaching philosophy. It's a pride issue... He has lost so many games here at Clemson simply because he won't bunt a guy over to WIN the game.... who cares about your " philosophy " at WINNING TIME. Win the game! A good coach doesn't let pride get in the way of winning.

And lastly.... he's not one of us. HE HAS NEVER BEEN ONE OF US. He is a coot.. don't fool yourself. He is a Tanner disciple and would leave us if the coot job was offered. He is not one of us.

Please tell, how do you explain the good job that he was doing at college of Charleston, did he forget how to coach when come to Clemson. Personally, I think that coach Lee should reevaluate his assistant coaches, and make some changes if things don't turn around fast. I just don't think that with coach Lee working for Tanner made him a coot at heart. It has to be that he hasn't been at HC at this level, or he needs to reevaluate his friend/friends that he brought with him from the college of Charleston.

Maybe DRAD should have one of those your A$$ is barely hanging on the line if things don't change, and change quick bc, when looking at the roster, we have quality players that should be better than our win/loss record says that we are.

I agree with all that's saying our baseball program needs some improvement, and if it don't happen this season under coach Lee and his staff, then changes need to be made within the coaching staff, or with the HC, but for sure we're not playing the Clemson baseball that we've been use to in the past, and it's past time that changes should be made, and that is my Opinion!!!!
