Watching college game day on the largest curved center-hung screen in a basketball arena in the country would be cool.

70's 80's and much of the 90's before games. It was great because you could go in and sit in an air conditioned environment while tailgating. They eventually started blocking off the seating areas because I imagine some didn't know how to act in a mostly empty arena.

$$$$ money grab

Who cares--just another money grab. Simple things like better restrooms are never done in the stadium. How does opening it up for a football game make any difference to anyone. Rad is about $$$$ nothing else.

Going forward, this should help us win a couple more games, right? At least the ones we are favored in? Up the middle, up the middle, pass, punt!

Before: Sh*tty basketball program. After: Sh*tty basketball program in debt.
DRad is a bottomless pit of spending. Guys, I'm warning you. Dan Radakovich is bad bad news for Clemson University.

Only 9,000 seats seems awfully unimpressive to me. The Citadel area is not all that far behind that! It seems that Clemson will be competing with the smaller teams when it comes to attendance.

Cameron seats about 9k. Villanova's seats 6,500
I am not sure it really matters as long as people show up.

REAL Genius would be ...

|
|
... if they kept it open for two hours after the football game ends so people can hang out, maybe watch the game recap or another game ... while traffic clears out.

... AND to use 50% or 75% of the revenue generated from this venture to "give back" to the students and give them a discount on their football tickets ... It would be a WIN-WIN-WIN!!
