I am so tired of hearing the comparisons to the 2018 team. Ya'll just ain't it at all. Time to let the top 50 recruit Freshmen and XT play.

Think about it …
You’ve just lost a close game that morphed into an embarrassing final score … a game that was yours for the taking during 3rd Quarter … and now ther is nothing that you can do to fix it.
Worse still, you’re on a ~ 5 hour trip (sitting still may not be torture, but it isn’t amenable for sleep) with nothing more in your mind than the miserable feeling of failure.
This is true; sometimes the after the fact analysis is tougher (emotionally) than the immediate aftermath of the failure.

I can’t believe that’s the right attitude for a lineman, especially on defense, after that game. I want to hear passion, anger, grim determination. Somebody sneak in Skalski, or Boulware, or Simmons (Anthony or Isaiah, don’t care). There’s too much credit to Duke. They made their own mistakes, and Leonard is not Lamar Jackson. Are they that much better than us? If so, how did that happen?

Is it just me but where is the outrage? I want to hear someone punched a wall in the locker room, smashed a chalkboard. Common on, this team should be pissed. They lost 28-7 and it looked bad from my TV. I don't give a crap about how the stats were in our favor, WE WERE EMBARRASED! Only thing that matters is winning and if you lose, a moral win is when the optics are favorable. We didn't have either on Monday night. Let's go punch someone in the face, impose our will and curb stomp our opponents one by one into the ground. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

Stoic resolve beats emotional outburst every time.
Mr. Orhorhoro’s words were more along the lines of stoic resolve.

Thank you David for the article. I am really pulling for this team. I am gone for the first two home games because I will be in Scotland but, will be back in time for FSU and the rest of the season including a trip to the Columbia roach. Please keep holding the coaches accountable because these players deserve the best.

This is getting weird like a cult mentality. I’m all for being positive but come on, show some anger or outrage at what just happened. We are so missing the killer instinct mentality. I’m afraid outside of Shipley this team is just soft.

The transfer portal is not picking from a pool of felons. Quit demonizing kids that want to leave a program after a coach is fired or because they don’t want to accept limited playing time behind a 5 star or because a coach didn’t keep his word.

So he said the politiclly correct thing BUT I'd say if you are a QB or tennis player you forget the last pass or serve you did not return and play the next play BUT if you are a DL the poor performance and getting your butt kicked on National TV should eat at you to the point that all you want is a chance to get back out there and prove yourself and you should promise YOURSELF that you will never forget that sick feeling or losing. Yes, we kept the score down but allowing nearly 400 years is simply not acceptable. Our night on D was a litany of poor tackling, poor positioning and blown coverages. IF we had opened up with UGA again, like I belive we do next year, that game would have been 99 to 0.
