What one change could Dabo have made offseason that would

have significantly changed our results through the first 7 games? And "taking 15 transfers through the portal" is not a valid answer; needs to be more specific.
One staff change, one depth chart change, one portal player...
Seems like one thing he could do right now is make Klub carry around a football everywhere he goes the next week, and challenge anyone, anywhere to knock it out of his hand.

I'd have to agree with you. This is where any good offense starts. Open the holes and protect the qb. Success follows.

After signing was completed, there was nothing that could have been done unless there was a magic pill we could have taken that would have stopped fumbles.

changed everything. I've been saying this for over a season. I thought a lot of DJs issues came from him being attacked because defenses knew SH1P can only run for 1-3 yards a carry.
When he gets more. the teams are not good teams. He has had a few good games. but on the whole. <3 yards per carry are the norm. it was how he started vs UGA. it's how he's performed against every good team since.

Allow OC to hire 1-3 coaches.at least 1 Position in Order. 1.) WR coach 2.) OL Coach 3.) RB coach
2-3 portal players, WR and OL
Over the last two-three years have better fall back options being recruited and don’t offer those 8-9 “Friends and Family” offers that drastically hurt depth.
Dabo be a CEO and completely stay out of Offense.

Fix the OL, and we’ll be surprised at just how much more successful we will be. I think it will take a new OL coach to do it, but that’s the issue at hand

I would echo that Dabo needs to give up his co-coordinator role. He has a very conservative tendency that worked when our talent was 10x better than most of our competition. Sure he will have input on critical plays like all head coaches but he needs to leave 99.9% to Riley.

Dabo doesn't have a conservative tendency. Did you miss the near safety in the Miami game? Or the fake field goal in the Orange Bowl?

I think the question itself is fundamentally flawed. These issues we are seeing now took time to fester and degrade into the sh**show we see on Saturday's. I don’t think there’s one single thing Dabo could have done in the offseason to prevent it. Even if you had of brought in the greatest OL/WR/ST/DC coaches to ever walk the earth it’s not an instant change. Our issues now stem from a lack of player development and chasing Rivals star metrics instead of careful evaluation of talent.
The reason so many of us have been screaming for change in the coaching staff to get experienced coaches with proven results ASAP is because we understand change takes time. Of course you can get that flash in the pan transfer like a Cam Newton and win a natty, but it’s not sustainable. You have to recruit talent that matches your schemes and develop them accordingly.
Lastly you will always missed recruits, injuries, transfers, etc. The important part there is not use those open scholarships to give to guys who will never see a meaningful down in their career. You need to use the portal intelligently to plug the gaps

^^^this ^^^ all day exactly what needs to happen in the off-season.
For now, Being honest, 10 win season is probably not going to happen. Play different personel. Put mafah and Haynes in. Give Pennington some meaningful snaps along with keeping the young ol in. Stellato was open several times and cade never looked his way. Give Ronan a couple series.
Quick slants on first or 2nd down. Challenge the guys to make the catch.

WR evaluation. Not only did we miss on the guys who are on the roster, but we also missed on all of our WR offers. I ran through it the other day, and I don't think we offered a single player in the top 50 in receiving yards this season. Its not just we did not land the right guys, it's that we never recruited them. In the past we had offered Calvin Ridley, Jerry Jeduy, Dovana Peoples Jones, Mecole Hardman as well as getting guys like Tee Higgins, Justin Ross, Cornell Powell ect.

You can add Shipley and MaffIa to that as well heck the whole offense, and while they are at it teach the line how too run block and pass protect. One other thing is to have a quarterback who listens to the coaches instead of free lancing.

I would get rid of Wes Goodwin. Defense coach, we all way had a good defense. Also I would get rid of Spiller
He was Great as running back, but not as a coach, also i would get rid of the WR coach , and bring in Jeff Scott for wide receiver coach
