Max is the staff ace. Strider has made tremendous strides but until he regularly keeps his pitch count low he still has a little work to do. He reminds me of a young Nolan Ryan. You know the heats coming and still can’t hit it.

As early as possible. All these pitchers that had it in amateur or minor league ball seem to thrive when they get to the majors.

The Braves are very fortunate to have two ACE caliber starters. I like Fried for his steady maturity but Strider is coming on strong!

When he’s healthy and not worn out it’s debatable now. But Max Fried is the guy I want on the bump in a game 7 situation right now. That may change by the end of the year. I’m glad the Braves have them both.
