Agree on both, but I do expect he's going to get better on

the field after more live reps. He's coming (gross) off a long layover.
And LOL I don't think I've ever seen a QB get multiple facemask/personal foul calls like he did last night.

I think he was trying to get the one back they didn't call

against him (when he was tackled on 3rd down by his facemask with no call).
Also, I thought he was pretty freaking accurate last night. If the ball hits an NFL receiver in both hands, they need to be coming down with it. Lots of dropsies last night.
And that last play the DB had two hands full of jersey with no pass interference??
I thought that was reviewable now.

out of bounds a hair more than they should have been. I think that will get dialed in.
But without Chubb it will be even harder.
One eye popping note from last night: DW has 3 pro bowl years - the same number as all other Cleveland QBs since 1970 COMBINED.

vs. Louisville

This time - for the first time away from Clemson’s Memorial Stadium - the Watson family and Tigers fans will watch Deshaun Watson start a college game. Watson’s hand is healed. No. 18-ranked Clemson (7-2, 6-1 ACC) hopes that hand can heal its offense just in time for two massive challenges in its final three games, starting today at No. 24 Georgia Tech (8-2, 4-2) at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Five weeks ago, Watson wedged his finger in the facemask of a Louisville defender trying to stiff-arm his way to a first down.
“It was just real weak after surgery when they put the four screws in,” Watson said. “It’s a whole new process, relearning how to grip and throw the ball without any pain.”

He’s playing tense, like he has built up stress and needs some form of release, like he can’t relax and is playing too high-strung.
I’m saying he needs strangers from Instagram to jerk him to completion.

haha jk, jk...relax....yeah idk what to say bout DeeShawn. I just avoid the topic
wrt last night in particular, losing Chubb (which I will not watch that injury b/c it looks and sounded absolutely horrible / Willis McGahee-esque) had to kill em.
I do think it's hilarious that Haslam (UT Booster) paid him $230M though. That's epic, IMO.

In addition to others have stated - especially with needing to hit Instagram again…
It’s also overall adapting to an offense not centered around the QB. With chubb out - this could change.
