I think Barrett Carter is the most important

piece we need to return. Every other position is just as talented if not more with the younger talent following up, but having the veteran signal caller on defense is huge. DL and DBs are loaded with young talent and even more coming in. I personally think he would benefit having another year being the primary guy on defense and raising his draft stock for next year.

100% Agree

Secondary, even with the departures, is in good shape IMO. Interior DL is DEEEEEP.

DE is light on experience but we don't have anyone to retain to help that. Maybe a portal piece? Payton from FSU? LOL.. Just kidding but...

We too thin at LB

He's the main piece, but not as dire as

some handwringing Keyboarders want to claim. Hope and PRAY he stays, but we will still have 5 LB's to cover 2 position, because either Venables Covil or Barnes will play the 3rd LB position, to have these 3 on the field at the same time.

Carter staying would be icing on the cake, but his depature, along with Trotter's has been planned for all year.

Why would you ever pray that a college football player stays? Pretty weird

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Pray they all stay, they are Clemson Family after all ?

I think we justbhad trouble signing LBs then. We all expected Carter to leave, but we will be thin if he does. If he returns it will be huge.

HLRT says Shaw will commit.

Who know, Lil Woodazz may be like his brother and avoid a redshirt as as 3 star. Maybe not.

At 5 stars, is Sammy Brown going to be talented enough to come in and

The mock drafts i've seen don't have him in round 1 or 2, he would benefit by coming back.

I saw one with him in the 4th. Most have him in the 3rd.

Pretty sure he would be the QB of the defense next year with Trotter gone.
