I spent my first 3 years in Cope Hall, 2nd Floor.

The 3rd year, two guys down the hall had gone back and forth pranking each other. Nothing too major (crickets under the door, bucket of water leaned against door etc...) until one of them figured out how to affix a chain to the door knob. He chained the guys door to the water fountain, then shoved about 5 lit smoke bombs under the door and put a towel in the crack.
It was about 0300 when the guy ripped the water pipe loose from pulling on the door so hard, then pulled the fire alarm.
Oh yeah, it was exam week. Needless to say, we had a talk with the two of them after the FD left.

two of my friends lived in the room right across the hall from the hall lounge. The rest of us would tie one end a piece of rope to their door and the other to the lounge door. They had to climb out the window and go around to the front door to get out.

1) If you pulled the elevator doors open, it would stop the elevator wherever it was. So once on the 3rd floor, we cracked the doors, stopping the elevator below us halfway between the 2nd and 3rd floor. Then we started squirting warm water (couldn't bring ourselves to actually take a ####) through the fan holes on the top, making the occupants think they were getting whizzed on. Imagine our delight when Emory Smith went door to door in the dorm asking who had pi$$ed on him and that they would be dead if he caught them.
2) We discovered that if you waited until someone left their room and went to take a shower, you could knock the doorknob off with a 3 pound hammer, stranding them outside their room for a good 3-4 hours until maintenance could replace the door knob.
3) One kid on the hall was a total Jersey ########....so as soon as he left for Christmas break, one of my friends broke into the utility room on our floor and flipped off the circuit breaker for that guy's room. He had a 100 gallon saltwater fish tank with pretty expensive fish and came back from break to an aquarium that looked like a recreation of the Exxon Valdez spill.
