This 'recruiting takes a hit' headline is very ESPN-ish. In fact, it's VERY ESECSpin-ish. Disgusting and shameful.
Then again, it plays well with the 'glass half empty' mentality of so many on here. I've never seen such a consistent effort by so many at finding fault with any topic. If misery loves company, it can definitely be found here! Jeebus!

About a week before he decided. I’ve never seen such a massive flub-up on here before. It’s like calling your shot and then striking out. Tigernet needs to realize now that there’s millions of $ at stake, the rich sleazy schools are never out of it for these gold-diggin’ kids and their gold-diggin’ families.

Our fans whining about being out bid is a bad look as this sounds like something coot or Nancy St fans would say. We pay our players like everyone else but Dabo will not participate in a bidding war. I have said before our sweet spot is high 3* and 4* players as the 5* guys always draw too much interest from the bad actors. Just this weekend, Cuse sold out for a 5* receiver from Florida. The good news is we can be very successful with the aforementioned guys.

Yep. We have lost 5 star guys before and this won’t be the last. I couldn’t believe the “Sky is Falling” wording of the article. This is a very good class and we aren’t done yet.

I wish the playing destination of an 18 year old was my only worry in life. Have too much going on to get overly concerned about recruiting drama. I feel if they want to be at Clemson they will be. Recruiting is so different now. We could most likely bid on this same guy in a year or two. Same with players that do commit. Right financial opportunity comes along I’m sure they may be looking to move along as well. Different ball game these days.
